A dormitory at Ratu Kadavulevu School, in Lodoni, Tailevu was extensively damaged by a fire last night.
Witnesses confirmed the Degei House dormitory caught fire at about 7pm.
It is understood that the dormitory housed about 160 students some of whom are sitting or preparing for final examinations.
Witnesses at the scene also confirmed that no one was injured.
However, it is most likely that some students lost their personal belongings
National Fire Authority chief fire officer Qionilau Mocetai last night said two fire trucks, one from the Nausori Fire Station and the Korovou Fire Station were at the scene last night and were trying to put out the fire.
NFA is yet to determine the cause of fire.
