Engineer Ledua Vakayatu, 30, has been to many places in Fiji and suggests that people should visit the Snake God Cave in Wailotua, Wainibuka, Tailevu.
Originally from Lau and now based in Labasa, Mr Vakayatu owns Othannel Construction Private Limited; a company that provides affordable homes.
“Everyone deserves to own a house and we are here to assist them,” Mr Vakayatu said.
“The Snake God Cave is intriguing, it has an interesting piece of history which makes it a must to visit.”
As a civil engineer graduate from the Fiji National University, Mr Vakayatu assists clients by advising them to have affordable homes.
“We advise our customers to keep to their budget, rather than buying too much and having surplus material going to waste.”
Mr Vakayatu lives in Labasa with his family as his father is a senior church pastor.
He loves travelling and has visited many parts of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu during his school days.
He attended FNU from 2018 to 2021.
He is now pursuing his Masters in Civil Engineering online with the University of People, a tuition-free online university for students from all over the world.
Where in Fiji would you take visitors to?
Wailotua Village to see the Snake God Cave.
The name is derived from six glittering pillar in the shape of snake heads.
During times of tribal war’s in the past the village would pack up en masse and seek shelter in the cave’s pitch-black labyrinth.
Certain places in the cave complex were used for human sacrifice, there is a place to test a partner’s fidelity.
