The family of a nine-year-old boy who was a victim of alleged bullying inside a school bus on Tuesday afternoon, is pleading with parents and guardians to talk to their children to be kind to one another.
Charles Terakau, was a victim of alleged bullying by those he claimed were “bigger kids”.
A social media post went viral on Tuesday regarding the alleged incident and what Charles went through.
If it hadn’t been for Assemblies of God church pastor Simione Nakuna, the boy would have ended up for worse.
“I was driving towards Christian Mission Fellowship Secondary School when I saw this boy running down the road,” Pastor Nakuna said.
“He came straight for my car, so I was forced to stop. He kept asking me to save him, so I opened the door and let him in.”
Pastor Nakuna said that the boy he saw was disheveled and traumatised. His shirt was torn and wore his sulu the wrong way.
“I was actually on my way to Buretu, Tailevu, with two other people, so I asked him if we could just wait around for a few minutes but we had to change course because he looked so scared.
