Ratu Asaeli Rokovucago Memorial School head boy Taito Rokoca and head girl Koini Canaweka are ready to help improve the Sote, Vugalei, Tailevu-based school this year.
They were inducted last Friday along with class captains, school prefects and deputy prefects.
Koini did not expect to be chosen as the head girl.
“I did not dream to be chosen as the head girl and I am ready to lead my brothers and sisters through this academic year,” Koini said.
The duo from Sote Village has been attending the school since kindergarten.

They had been class prefects since their first year at school and are ready to perform their duties diligently.
Taito’s father works at Nukurua Forestry Station while Koini’s parents are villagers.
Taito, 13, thanked his teachers for entrusting him with the leadership role. He wants to become an aircraft engineer.
The school has a roll of 94 students including kindergarten.
