Nadroga thrashed Northland Tailevu 10 – 0 in the Vodafone Senior League at the Fiji Football Academy in Suva yesterday.
The side scored three goals in the first half and seven in the second half.
Nadroga coach Waisea Tale was impressed with their performance despite the lack of preparation.
“Despite the boys not being able to train for the match we still managed to win. Most of our players trained on their own.
“We were fortunate to have some experienced players in our side.
“I would like to urge the people of Nadroga to support the team and our aim is to play in the Vodafone Premier League next year,” he added
Meanwhile, Northland Tailevu coach Pares Ram was disappointed.
“We could not train together because there is proper ground and the players couldn’t get release from work.”
Results: Tailevu Naitasiri 1- 0 Navua, Northland Tailevu 0– 10 Nadroga.
