Children still seen swimming in flooded creeks and rivers: Sokomuri
Police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says it is important to protect children and be aware at all times of their whereabouts under the current weather conditions.
The call follows concerns about children still seen swimming in flooded creeks and rivers as rain continued.
Yesterday, the Fiji Sun visited a number of flooded areas and rivers such as Qauia Village in Lami, Baulevu in Tailevu and noticed children and even youths out swimming and playing in flooded places.
