A 36yr old man is in police custody and two more men are on the run after they were reported to have allegedly raped a 13yr old boy of the same village. The offence has been happening on several occasions since November 2015 to January this year at a village in Tailevu.
The matter was reported to police yesterday by the victim’s mother after the matter was discovered during a prayer group session in the village.
The 36yr old man is in police custody whilst the search is on for another two men that are alleged to have also committed the offence are still at large.
Investigations continue into the matter.
